Since I moved to New York, almost 2 years ago, a lot of friends and people always tells me that I'm lucky to be here. That they miss me, but also they're happy for me. Some of them even told me, that they will die for live here. That it should be a dream!

During this "new yorker journey", I have had the opportunity to met a lot of amazing people. Some of them, tells you such a unique stories about their life and struggles and they still happy, fighting again for what they want. That's the beauty in this city. Every person is a book full of stories.

So I recently told to myself: What make us so special? Why even when we left everything, we're so happy here? What's the real magic of the city?

And after a long way, now I can tell you that New York is for the ones who knows what they want. For the lovers and dreamers. For any age and race. The riskers. The ones who overcome their fears and want to reinvent themselves. For the "black lovers". The artists and the intellectuals. For open-minded. The ones who keeps trying after every fall. For the people who aren't afraid to meet themselves and walk out their comfort zone. For me, people who live in NYC is called: the fighters.

So today, If you want a change, live your dream or just know you're strengths and weaknesses, the city that never sleeps, is waiting for you. Make a plan and just do it!

Desde que me mudé a Nueva York, hace casi 2 años, muchos amigos y gente en general, siempre me dice que tengo mucha suerte de estar aquí. Que me extrañan, pero que también están felices por mi. Algunos de ellos incluso me dicen que mueren por vivir aquí. ¡Que debe ser un sueño!

Durante este "new yorker journey", he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a muchísima gente increíble. Algunos de ellos, te cuentan historias únicas acerca de su vida, por todo lo que han pasado y aún así son felices por que continúan luchando por lo que quieren. Esa es la belleza de esta ciudad. Cada persona es un libro lleno de historias.

Así que me pregunté: ¿Qué es lo que nos hace tan especiales? ¿Por qué incluso cuando dejamos todo, estamos tan felices aquí? ¿Cuál es la verdadera magia de esta ciudad?

Y después de un largo camino, ahora te puedo decir que Nueva York es para los que saben lo que quieren. Para los amantes y soñadores. Para cualquier edad y raza. Los que arriesgan. Los que superan sus miedos y quieren reinventarse. Para los amantes del negro. Los artistas y los intelectuales. Para los de mente abierta. Los que siguen intentando después de cada caída. Para las personas que no tienen miedo de conocer a sí mismos y salir de su zona de confort. Para mí, a la gente que vive en Nueva York se les llama: guerreros.

Así que hoy, si buscas un cambio, vivir tu sueño o simplemente saber cuales son tus verdaderas fortalezas y debilidades, la ciudad que nunca duerme, te está esperando. Haz un plan y ¡lánzate! ¡Aquí nos vemos!
