Highlights NYFW17 DAY1

The best week of the season is finally here! Fashion Week has arrived and my first day at the Skylight Clarkson was full of shows and friends.

Even with a snow storm making the city completely white, I made it to my first show: Nicholas K. The collection was amazing! Metallics in heels, skirts and dresses were the distinctive elements. Nicholas K' team took us to enjoy a upcoming winter with drapes and oversized tops! One of my favorite collections of the day!

As we all know, Desigual means fun! Cool caps and a mix of patterns plus a great music made me enjoy the experience with them.

After a break, we came back to the venue for Tadashi Shoji. His lace and tons of gold in almost all his pieces reminds me that winter is about luxury. Here are a few of my new obsessions from his runway…

Basic pieces with a new york feeling, NOON by Noor bring the street style to the runway with black, greys and browns with a simplicity in their style to die for.

And the best of the day? My event with Banana Republic! I had the chance to talk with Olivia Palermo about her "must have pieces" she picked for the season. The Senior Vice President of Design, Michael Anderson told me some details about the collection and how great was to worked with Olivia!
